Supplemental Goodbyes

To prep for the sale of the house we also said goodbye to the suspension bridge in the backyard and my dad's grand piano.

I didn't cry when the bridge came down, but I sobbed like a baby when the piano got taken away.  The good part is my dad was able to trade it in for an electric that fits in his house (which I'm not sure has ever been delivered successfully).  But it was hard to say good bye to that symbol of my Dad during my childhood.  He would play and I would dance and it was just a source of a lot of beauty.
